The Executive Chairman of Ezza North Local Government Area Ebonyi State, Hon Ogodo Ali Nomeh, has expressed optimism that his team will emerge victorious in the ongoing inter -council Governor’s trophy held at Abakaliki township stadium.
Nomeh, who doubles as the State Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), made the assertion on Wednesday while reacting on the outcome of the match between his Council team and their counterpart of Ivo council that ended One goal to nothing in-favour of Ezza North.
The ALGON chairman described his team as players to watch in the tournament and assured them of his total support.
“The outcome is as expected, because we played a champion of the last season and the people we played today is a champion of a group”
“So, is expected we defeat them and we have defeated them, Our magic is that our boys are indigenous trained players who are committed to do their best to defend their father’s land.
“We are optimistic that we will win the trophy”. he further emphasized.
