—–Advises Them On Moral Behaviours, Others

The Wife of Ebonyi State Governor Chief (Mrs) Recheal Umahi has organized a one day security submit to Ebonyi Women to reduce security challenges in the State, South East zone and Nigeria in general.
Addressing the women at the Christian Ecumenical center Abakaliki, Mrs Umahi said that insecurity will become things of the past if Women should go back and carry out their statutory duties in their various families.

She charged the women to embrace good moral behaviors, values and shun laziness, gossip greediness among others but remain committed in breeding responsible and dignified children who would understand the sanctity of life in the society.
Mrs Umahi who cautioned mothers against negligence and paying little attention to the lifestyle of their children especially during adolescent age, observed that proper upbringing of children would make them not to indulge into crime.
She advised women to imbibed the spirit of tolerance, patience and respect their husbands as well as reshape their words and actions to guarantee a happy home.
According to Mrs. Umahi, the Insecurity we are seeing today would be a thing of past if mothers should go back home and do our work which God has created us specifically to do,”

“When our children are well trained, the society will not only benefit positively from such a child but the world at large would feel his or her impact”
“The work you are doing in your family can only be paid by God not your husband or whosoever” she concluded
The Governors wife further thanked the women for their comportment and diligence and admonished them to continue to live in a right path of life that others would behold on as well show love and good conscience towards one another.

On his part, the Chairman of the Christian association of Nigeria South East Zone Reverend Father Abraham Nwali called on women and youths to embrace entrepreneurship as Government cannot provide employment to everyone.
The cleric who enumerated the three forms of protection in the family including prayers, counselling and dialogue, appreciated Mrs. Umahi for taking such bold step, while calling on traditional and religious leaders to persistently organize counselling and round table discussions to inculcate youths on moral values.
The Chairman, Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in the state, Mrs Nkechinyere Iyioku, the chairman of Local Government Mrs. Chinyere Nwogbaga and the Commissioner women social development Mrs. Deborah Chinwe Okah said the submit was timely in view of the security challenges in the country and prayed God to bless Mrs. Umahi with good health and longevity of life.
One of the Guest Speakers, a Nollywood actress, Mrs. Ebele Okaro decried the level of decay in some families today and expressed regret that most women indirectly encourages their children even when it was obvious that they are going astray.
She enjoined Mothers to always find out whom their children goes out with, the company they keep and the association they join adding that with that, they can monitor and observe their lifestyle.
She said society would be better if mothers should know their enormous roles in the society.
The event drew the presence of female executive council members, female council chairmen, Rachel Umahi women for Akubaraoha, NGO’S, CSO’S among others, while the event featured prayers and cultural troops by different groups.
