Okpuitumo Like Minds Assembly Celebrates End of Year Party In Grand Style

……Decorates Nwoba, Omeoha As Patrons

A large number of persons under the umbrella body of Okpuitumo Like Minds Assembly (OLMA) have celebrated her End of the Year Party in a special way at Ndioke village, Ekumenyi Development Centre in Abakaliki LGA of Ebonyi State.

The Chairman of the association, Hon. Kenneth Ogayi while congratulating the people for their giant efforts in ensuring the progress of the Assembly, appreciated God for His love, guidance and protection upon them and for their peaceful entrance into 2023.

He expressed satisfaction on the level of supports given to him by the members, enjoined them to remain more committed in the affairs of the Assembly and assured that he would not leave any stone unturned in propagating the good image of the Assembly in the community and beyond.

Earlier, the Chairman of the occasion who doubled as the Councilor of Okpuitumo political ward 12, Hon. Ukpa Friday Thomas and his predecessor, Hon. Sunday Ominyi applauded the members for their unity of purpose and urged them to always remain peace ambassadors of the community.

The duo called on the people to go and get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC’s) ready so as to vote massively for APC gubernatorial candidate, Chief Francis Ogbonna (FON) Nwifuru and other Candidates in the party in the forthcoming general elections to enable the candidates record a landslide victory in the area.

In their good will messages, some members of the Assembly including, Chief Alfred Agbo, Chief James Nwuzor, Chief Michael Nwovu Origbo, Hon. John Mbam, Hon. Friday Arigbo among others thanked God for the life He has given to them and enjoined others to sustain love by ensuring that a robust relationship exists among themselves at all times.

They people who were highly elated also called on the dignified individuals from Okpuitumo Community to come and join them as the Assembly is open to everyone.

However, the members of the organization used the occasion and decorated their two illustrious sons, Mr Sunday Nwoba popularly known as Lastborn and Mr.Chidiebere Omeoha as their patrons for having contributed immensely towards unity, peace and development of Okpuitumo Community while the Executive chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Area Hon. Ebere Stephen Nwogba was made Grand Patron.

Responding, the receipients expressed surprise on the honour and commended the people for bestowing upon them such respect.

They charged all and sundry to always utilize every opportunities that came on their ways wisely and never to relent in doing good as it pays beyond expectations while praying God to bless them richly in good health, longevity of life, wisdom and above all prosperity.

The Member representing Abakaliki South Constituency in the State Assembly Deacon Joseph Ununu represented by Mr Silas Odicha was among the stakeholders who graced the occasion.
