It was a moment of glamour and glitz as the daughter of the Minister in charge of Nigeria Reformed Church, Abakaliki Miss Precious Nwibo tied a nuptial knot with her heaathrob in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State Capital.
The ceremony which held at the Akanu Ibiam International Conference Center,ICC, Abakaliki, drew the presence of Government officials including the member representing Ebonyi North East Constituency in Ebonyi State House of Assembly Hon. Victor Aleke, former Senior Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Higher Education, Professor Adaeze Nwuzor, religious leaders, friends and well wishers.
Reverend Nwibo who is the father of the bride appreciated God for joining the couple together as husband and wife and poured an encomiums to those who attended the event for celebrating with them.
He advised the couple to anchor their faith in God despite challenges, prioritize on love and avoid introducing third party in their family affairs, while encouraging the intending couples to always look out the best to guarantee peace in their families and whished the new couple longevity of life, good health, prosperity, fruit of womb among others.
The groom, who described his relationship with his wife as a love journey, expressed joy over their happy beginning as a couple.
According to him:
“The journey thus wasn’t really something you just define with a sentence, but the end thereof, is that I am smiling in love.”
The bride, former Miss Precious Nwibo, now, Precious Ukouma, said she was lucky to have gotten married to her best friend and also prayed for other single ladies to find a friend to be joined with.
“The most important part of this to me is walking down the aisle with my best friend, I wish people would get married to their friends as well to enjoy the fruits of a happy home.” She said.
The couple showered an accolades of love on each other and promised to continue on the paths of love towards building a happy home.
Highlight of the occasion was the gifting of the couple with a brand new car.
