NISCN President Advises Ebonyians on General Safety Measures

The president of National Industrial Safety Council of Nigeria (NISCN), Dr Festus Daniel has said that there was need to train people on different aspects of safety even as he enjoined schools, religious institutions and other organizations to create safety units around their premises, to, in collaboration with the security help in identifying motives of most strangers in their midst.

Dr Daniel made the statement in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State recently on the occasion of dedication and consecration of Living Christ Mission worship temple, Abakaliki branch by the Golden Deputy Shepherd Mother-General of Living Christ Mission Inc. worldwide, Princess Samuel Divine-Gift Onyineyomachukeu on behalf of His Grace, the Most Rev Professor Daddy Hezekiah.

The president who emphasized that they were on a mission to stream the entire country with the programme on safety, added that their visit to Ebonyi was the first outing of that nature to set up the body in the State and create awareness and advocacy for the group.

The president charged the Princess and other leaders of the church to embrace safety as according to him, safety is everyone’s business.

”When you move with your Bible preaching the gospel, go along with a call to safety of the people.

“We have developed safety curriculum on Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Pigin and other languages in Nigeria to enable people queue into the idea of the programme”, he said.

Earlier in her speech while dedicating the church house to God in the presence of the deputy governor of Ebonyi State, Barr Eric Kelechi Igwe and many other dignitaries, including church members, Princess Samuel Divine-Gift Onyinyeomachukwu advised the congregation to always keep the Sabbath day holy by going to church with good intentions, humility and admission of their imperfect nature to pray so that God will answer them whatever they ask in his name.

Recall that the Living Christ Mission temple, Abakaliki branch was built and donated to God by Amb. Dr Hezekiah Chinenye Duru.

Speaking shortly after the dedication and consecration ceremony, the highly elated member of the Church, Dr Hezekiah Chinenye Duru said he was extremely happy to have been used by God to erect such magnificent building for God himself, adding that he was only following the footsteps of His Grace, Most Rev Prof. Daddy Hezekiah as his model, whom he said had built 75,000 ultra modern seating capacity temple in Onitsha and other places for God.

Similarly, the deputy governor, Barr Eric Igwe thanked Amb Dr Hezekiah Duru for thinking it right to invest in the Lord’s yard, emphasizing that giving generally is about the heart to give and not tied to the amount in one’s pocket.

He prayed God to reward him greatly and charged the Princess and other church leaders to always remember people in position of authority and the nation at large in their prayers.

The height of the occasion was the presentation of award of Eminent Safety Ambassadors and certificate of recognition to the two princesses of the most high God, Princess Favour Chinazaekpere and Princess Samuel Divine-Gift Onyinyeomachukwu; award and certificate of recognition to Amb. Dr Hezekiah Chinenye Duru and donation of safety items such as modern innovative fire extinguishers, smoke detectors and others to the church by the president of the National Industrial Safety Council of Nigeria, Dr Festus Daniel.
