The Labour Party (LP) Candidate for Abakaliki/ Izzi Federal Constituency and immediate past national president, Izhi Tehu Foundation,(ITF) Dr Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh(Immaculate) has received media excellence award over his contributions to human capacity development.
The Labour Party candidate received the award during a meeting with his supporters in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.
Presenting the award, the chairman of i-Turning Point Newspaper chapel, inauguration Committee chairman, Ambassador Onyibe Jeremiah said the award was on his roles in attracting succor to the victims of Nduobashi herdsmen as the President of Izhi Tehu Foundation and also his numerous contributions to human capacity development in the entire Izzi clan.
Speaking further, Onyibe described the Director Immaculate Printing Press as a philanthropist, political Amazon and a detribalized Nigeria who has impacted meaningfully to many lives in various vocational capacity and prayed God for his emergence come 2023 as to continue rendering selfless services to humanity.
Also in his speech, the Editor-in-Chief of the Newspaper, Nwogha Ndubuisi, commended the former national president and Chief Executive Officer, Immaculate Printing Press for his contributions towards the progress of the indigenous newspaper since its establishment in the State.
He noted that the Newspaper with the mission to improve on the literacy level and promotion of the culture of Izhi speaking people would in no distance time be the most widely circulating Newspaper in the state.
The Editor-in-Chief who promised to maintain balance reportage, called on the people to embrace and patronize the Newspaper as to encourage the growth and increase its wide readership.
He, however, vowed to use the medium in promotion of unity and champion the course for the growth of the people especially the voiceless in the clan.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, the Labour Party candidate for Abakaliki/ Izzi Federal Constituency Dr Ezeh who was visibly happy, extolled management of i-Turning Point Newspaper for the honour bestowed on him.
Ezeh while wishing the management success in their respective contributions, enjoined them to always be objective and balance in their reportage, while expressing his commitment to continue supporting the newspaper for its growth in the State.
i-Turning Point Newspaper is an Izhi indigenous Newspaper publication sponsored by Izhi Tehu Foundation and has been in operation since 2020 covering all parts of the clan and the world at large.
The Newspaper is written in English language and some pages in Izhi dialect and covers News, Education, Politics, Religion, Agriculture, Business, Technology, Entertainment and Sports.
