The cry of the woman who gave birth to triplets at St.Vincent Hospital, Ndubia Igbeagu community in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has caught the attention of the Izzi council Chairman, Hon. Paul James Nwogha who intervened by offsetting her hospital bills amounting to two hundred and Sixty thousand Naira (N260,000).

Recalled that we recently published on Turning Point offical WhatsApp page on the plight of the mother and her triplets who were trapped in the hospital for inability to pay their bill after successful delivery.
The report had it that One Mrs. Chinasa Nwambam, a mother of triplets from Ogbutaraoku Odariko village of Igbeagu autonomous community in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, cried woes for not clearing the hospital’s delivery bills of two hundred and sixty thousand Naira (N260, 000).
We gathered that Mrs. Nwambam was delivered of triplets on the 9th of September, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital, Ndubia Igbeagu but was unable to pay the hospital bills when discharged because her husband, Mr. Uchenna Nwambam is only a poor village farmer managing to provide his family a square meal in a day.
Mrs. Nwambam then, said that the hospital has given her a quick notice to clear the bills unless they are ready to risk being kept on a bare floor untill the debts are offseted.
The mother of the triplets expressed bitter feelings as she has no other means to tackle the situation, and her husband was said, only struggling on how to provide them with foods pending when help comes above.
She called the Ebonyi State Government, other good spirited individuals and groups to come for her assistance.
She as well appealed to the office of the First Lady of Ebonyi State, Chief Mrs. Rachel Umahi to extend her usual hand of followship to her.
Interacting with the PDP Vice Chairman, Igbeagu Ward 3, Chief Nwokoro Joseph, also called on the government authourities and other individuals to intervene to rescue the family from the situation.

However, the mother of the triplets Mrs. Chinasa Nwambam, has confirmed that the hospital had discharged them after the payment made by the Chairman.
Her husband, Mr. Uchenna Nwambam also thanked the Chairman for his intervention, and prayed that God would reward him in double folds with more exalted positions to serve humanities.
He equally appreciated individuals and groups who have been using different ways to assist his family following his wife that gave birth to triplets recently.
Also speaking, one of the hospital management, Nurse Blessing Nwode explained that, “the woman was delivered of the three babies, all of them are boys, through Ceaserian operation,” which according to her, “normally attracts higher charge.”
The Nurse expressed joy that the woman came out from her labour room with a huge blessing, even though, the delivery bills are not yet cleared, stressing that, clearing the charges would enable the hospital management to continue moving forward.
She assured that the woman and her babies would be discharged from the hospital any moment the bills are cleared.
Meanwhile, Hon. Paul James Nwogha has been said to had quickly intervened and paid off the whole bills as the woman with her babies have been discharged by the hospital.
