I’ll Make S/East Economic Hub Of Nigeria Says Tinubu

The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has promised to make South East the economic hub of Nigeria if voted into power in the 2023 general elections.

Senator Tinubu made the promise at the Presidential campaign rally and the campaign flag off of Ebonyi State APC gubernatorial Candidate held at Pa-Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki.

The APC Presidential Candidate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while commending Ebonyi people for their solidarity, said if voted into power would revamp the Nation’s economy and transform South East Region into the economic hub of the Nation.

He expressed his readiness to fight insecurity to a stand still through intellectuality and round table dialogue and solicited Massive vote from Ebonyi people and South East at large.

On his part, the Governor of Ebonyi State and National director South of APC Presidential campaign, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, commended Ebonyi people for their Massive turn out to the rally and expressed hope that Senator Tinubu would transform Nigeria to another greater level, promising to work assiduously to ensure success of the party in 2023.

He said the political campaign in Ebonyi State would be based on score card and announced that the State has declared operation paste our poster on the structure you built.

The Governor further called on all the supporters of APC to keep faith with the party and vote all the candidates for better tomorrow.

Handing over the party’s flag to the APC Governorship candidate of Ebonyi State, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the National Chairman of the Party, Senator Abudulahi Adamu represented by the Deputy National Chairman South, Chief Emmanuel Enekwu described Bola Tinubu as the best Presidential Candidate of the party and urged the people to support other candidates of the party from National down to the State level.

The Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly and APC Governorship candidate, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, in his address, said if voted into power, he would enhance investment opportunities through mineral deposits in the State and crate employment opportunities for the unemployed youths among other things.

He said he would run an open door and inclusive adminstration and make education, health, construction of rural roads and security his top priorities to better the well being of the people and used the occasion to flag off his governorship campaign in the State.

There were good will messages from the Governors of Imo, Jigawa, Borno, Kebbi and Cross River States among others.

The highlight of the event was official defection of Governorship Candidates of Social Democratic Party SDP Mr. Ikechukwu Nwankwo and his counterpart of ADC Mr. Bernard Nwonumara, Chief Frank Ogbuewu as well as the legislative aide to Senator Obinna Ogba, Mr. Victor Uche Eze into APC in support of the APC Governorship candidate Chief Francis Nwifuru.
