“I Come To Reposition Nigeria-Anyim Assures Royal Fathers

Ahead of the 2023 general election and the nationwide consultation move, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, today visited Hon. Justice Sidi Bage Muhammed, JSC Rtd, the 17 Emir of Lafia Barebari and Chairman Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs, one of the first class Traditional Rulers in Nigeria who retired as Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Anyim was greeted with Royal reception at the palace rolled out her drums in celebration of Anyim’s delegation.

The former Secretary to the Government of the country in his address expressed his desire to reposition the country to catch up with the future citizens would be proud of if given the opportunity.

” In the next few years, the type of employment we will be talking about will not be the type we are talking right now. And sir, we need to reposition this country to catch up with the future so that we can preserve the future for our children.

” That is what I stand for; that is what I want to bring on the table and that’s why I have come “

He further assured the Emir that the nation are into a new season.

” We are in to a new season, a season that will set out a new future for the younger generation, a season that will refocus Nigeria, a season that will reunite Nigeria, a season we must not make mistake about; a season we must bring everybody together to have a sense of nationhood. We have no other country than this country”.

The Royal father in his remarks, welcome the former Secretary to the Government, Sen. Anyim in his palace and assured him of his royal partnership.

” I want to assure you that I will not be part of the people that will discuss those issues that will not matter. We shall educate our people. I wish you well in your endeavours”.

The high point of the event was the presentation of royal gift from the Emir to Sen. Anyim.

Recall that Sen. Anyim expressed his intention to run for the office of the President of Nigeria a day to the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party where he appears to be the only one that is true to his declaration from South East as at the time of this report.
