The Governor of Ebonyi State,Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi has described Late Mrs Nwigum Regina- Eze as an exceptional woman of virtues of care,hardwork and moral discipline.
Governor Umahi stated this at Enyanwigwe Nwofe Agbaja in Izzi LGA during the burial ceremony of Mrs Nwigum Regina-Eze,elder sister to Hon Justice Chris Eze of the Ebonyi State High court and Chief Jossy Eze- chairman of Ebonyi State Independent Electoral commission (EBSIEC).
The Governor who was represented by the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice,Chief Cletus Ofoke also enjoined Christians to live examplary life worthy of emulation so as to make heaven where God prepared for the righteous.
He urged the bereaved family and relations to be consoled by the indelible legacies of their matriarch and continue to remain steadfast in the affairs of God.
Earlier in his, homily,the Rev. Fr. Jude Agama admonished Christians and believers to imbibe love and faith in God.
The burial ceremony attracted dignitaries from all works of life, including the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State Barr Eric Kelechi Igwe,Ph.D represented by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Mornitoring ,Hon Richard Idike,the Chief judge of Ebonyi State,Hon Justice Elvis Ngene represented by Hon Justice Henry Njoku,judges of Ebonyi State Judiciary, present and past members of the State Executive Council, political office holders,over 20 Catholic priests, business moguls among others.
Late Mrs Nwigum Regina-Eze died at the age of 76 years.
