As the ruling All Progressives Congress,APC, prepare for their Local Government congress, Ebonyi state Governor, Engr David umahi on Friday 3rd September,2021 inaugurated the 171 ward newly elected executives.
Performing the inauguration at Ecumenical Center, Abakaliki, the Executive Governor of the state, Engr.David Umahi, charged them to be loyal and committed to the Party since nobody is above the party.
He also announced his support to the caretaker Executives of the party in the state to stand for state APC congress as state working committee members,and urged the ward executives to support the caretaker committee members to emerge victorious.
Meanwhile,the list of contestants for the local government APC congress, slated for tomorrow,the 4th of September,2021,as submitted by the stakeholders of the 13 Local Government Areas of the state,has been formerly harmonised and adopted during the APC stakeholders meeting,presided over by the state Governor.
Umahi who was visibly happy over the peaceful conduct that has prevailed in the process, even during the last Ward congress in the state,charged party members to exhibit the same peaceful dispositions during and after the APC local government congress.
