Gov Nwifuru Disburses 310Million To Ebonyi Communities

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi state has disbursed 10million naira each to the 31 rural communities in the state.

The governor who said that the move is inline with the attainment of his People’s Charter of Needs manifesto charged the beneficiary Communities to use the fund to undertake projects of their choice.

While performing the disbursement of the cheques, he noted that the project is under the Ebonyi State Community and Social Development Agency World Bank Assisted Intervention.

Governor Nwifuru while addressing the benefitting Communities in Abakaliki enjoined them to ensure judicious use of the funds for the purpose they are meant for.

The Special Assistant to the governor on Documentation, Dr Boniface Nwankwo disclosed that beneficiary Communities span from the thirteen local government areas in the state.
