Ebonyi PDP chairman, Onu, Assures Hitch Free, Credible Primary Elections

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State Hon. Silas Onu has assured that the party would ensure hitch free, peaceful and credible exercise.

The chairman stated this while addressing the party officials at the party Secretariat in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

Onu who also assured that the primary elections would be transparent, enjoined the adhoc delegates to vote their choice of aspirants, adding that the exercise would be rated the most peaceful and transparent in the Country.

He further said that era of writing results in the hotel has gone as far as he is concern, stating that results must come from the venue of the elections.

He expressed his readiness to deliver the most acceptable primary elections to the party in the State while urging all the aspirants to follow INEC guidelines, pledging to give them a level playground to operate.

He also warned all and sundry to conduct themselves and shun any act capable of bridging law and orders.

The senator representing Ebonyi North zone who is aspiring for third term Senator, Dr Sam Egwu, commended the State working committee of the party for their relentless efforts in ensuring the conduct of the primary elections.

Senator Egwu who spoke on behalf of the aspirants assured that law and orders would be maintained during and after the elections.
