The All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Ebonyi State, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has promised to urgently resolve the lingering land dispute between the people of Amachi Community in Abakaliki LGA and their brothers of Eja Community, Obubra LGA of Cross River State if elected in the 2023 general election.
Nwifuru gave the assurance when he visited the people of Ndiegu Amachi Community alongside his close ally, a business mogul from Ezza Nation Chief Chibuike Orogwu and other APC stalwarts.

He frowned on the level of havoc rendered by the crisis in the area, and pledged to immediately swung into action towards restoring permanent peace in the area for the interest of the residents.
Addressing the people of Amachi Community who turned out in their large numbers to welcome him, Chief Nwifuru commended them for their hospitality and urged the people to always appreciate Gov. Umahi whom out of his magnanimity has find Izzi clan worthy to rule the State.
He explained that the decision has rendered infertile the issue of kindred dichotomy that was tearing Izzi people apart, adding that his emergence as the APC Gubernatorial Candidate has brought everyone together.
He charged the people to vote APC massively for continuity and consolidation of Gov. Umahi’s lofty achievements in the State and enjoined them not to be deceived by other political harlots from Izzi clan and others who are quest for power by all means.
He noted that the Government of Izzi people would put to stop all the issues bordering on land that is confronting the people and her neighbours and by extension the entire Ebonyi State.
On his part, the Chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Council Hon. Ebere Nwogba congratulated the people of Amachi Community especially Ezeogo Simeon Aziewa for their supports and solidarity in ensuring that Chief Francis Ogbinna Nwifuru succeeded Governor Umahi.
Nwogba restated the preparedness of the Council to deliver APC from top to bottom, saying the massive turnout of the people in the area would guarantee the victory of the party APC in the Community.
However, the Lagos base Izzi Traditional Ruler HRH Ezeogo Simeon Aziewa while expressing satisfaction on the visit of the incoming Governor, pledged for his continued support towards achieving his political desire.
He tasked the people of Izzi clan and other clans in the State to massively support the candidature of the APC Guber candidate in the spirit of equity, fairness and justice and called all and sundry to go and collect their permanent voters card (PVC’s) as it remains their power to vote credible leaders into power in this 2023 general elections.
Furthermore, a business mogul from Ezza Nation, Chief Chibuike Orogwu, appealed the people of Ebonyi State especially Izzi clan to vote Chief Francis Nwifuru as he remained the most qualified and competent candidate to govern the State while assuring to canvass votes for him.
Contributing, the State director general of APC campaign council for continuity and consolidation Chief Austin Umahi commended Governor Umahi for choosing Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru from Izzi clan to be his successor. Umahi charged the people of Izzi clan to do away with anything that could truncate the emergence of their son as the next Governor of Ebonyi.
Adding their voices, the town union president of Ndiegu Amachi Community Chief Simon Ekwekwe and a popular business man in the area Mr. Sunday Nwambam expressed their avowed determination and preparedness to vote APC candidates at all levels, while promising to embark on home to home campaign to woo more supporters into the party.
Meanwhile, the event attracted the Ebonyi North APC Senatorial Candidate Chief Onyekachi Nwebonyi, the APC candidate for Abakaliki South Condtituency Hon. Joseph Ununu, the immediate past chairman of Izzi LGA Hon. Paul Nwogha, the Coordinator of Amachi Community Hon. Obinna Nwiboko among other distinguished political office holders.
Turning Point reports that the APC gubernatorial candidate visited some affected war areas to ascertain the level of damages.
