As we can see, 2023 election is gaining momentum, everything is gradually getting in order.
The Izhi political aspirants like others in different climes are purchasing their forms, and from the look of things, we are hopefully moving to the permanent site.

But let me ask, does your political ambition worth blood of anybody? I said anybody, be it from Izhi, Ezza, Ohanivo, Ngbo, Ikwo or Afikpo?

In this country, we have two political leaders with different views about politics.
One of them recently said and I quote “
“My dear friends on Facebook,

“I have said it before and I will continue to say and live by the fact that my ambition, and indeed the ambition of anybody, is not worth the blood of any Nigerian. Therefore, I urge all Nigerians to look forward in hope as we fulfill the dreams of our founding fathers to ‘build a nation where peace and Justice reign’.

“In that regard, we must make the election of February 14th, 2015, a contest amongst brothers rather than a struggle between foes.

“In my political life, I have never been driven by the love of power. Rather, I have gotten to where I am today by the power of love which is the power that fueled the unity that saw Nigeria become the largest economy in Africa and defeat the Ebola Virus Disease”.

The other politician said and I quote, “If what happened in 2011 should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood.”

This above threats during the campaign for the 2011 elections incited widespread violence in the North after one of the speakers lost.

His supporters went on a rampage; looting and killing; in spite of the fact that, by all accounts, the elections were adjudged the most free and fairest in the history of Nigeria’s current democratic experiment. By the time the mayhem had subsided, over 1000 people had been slaughtered in cold blood and some 65,000 displaced.

In another place he said “I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria,”

Again he still said “God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country,”

You have seen the understanding of these two men about politics, you have seen the level of their understanding about leadership. You can read through the minds of these two men.

The first man is what a leader should be. He sees politics as a call to serve and not as dirt game as we use to say.

If you mirror the mind of the second man, you will see a tokens of an irresponsible politician, whose ambitions for power supersede the national interest. Who then are the dogs and baboons that the speaker had in mind to soak in blood if and when he loses yet again come 2015? Are they his children or are they those of others? He openly refered to his voters baboons and monkey. What a shame?

Your political ambition doesn’t worthy blood of any Izhi sons or daughters.

Woe unto you if any blood would be shared because of your political ambition.

You will live and die, politics will remain and Izhi will still live, but most importantly, Izhi will live more than you, your political ambition, and politics.
It’s the right time to prove to the derogatory statement of a well known Ebonyi politician who once refered Izhians as “foolish majority” wrong.

I have presented to you with these two men, you have a choice to choose between Paul or Appolus.

Izhi Tehuwaru oooooo!
