The Deputy Chief and senator representing Ebonyi North district, Onyekachi Nwebonyi has congratulated governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma over victory at the poll.

Senator Nwebonyi said that the re-election of senator Hope Uzodinma was a confirmation of his wide acceptance by the Imo people and described his past antecedents to the course of the victory.
“I feel so much delighted to congratulate Your Excellency, the Executive Governor of Imo State, Chief Hope Uzodinma on your well-deserved victory at the November 11, 2023 off cycle governorship election in Imo State.

“Your election for a second term in office is a confirmation of your wide acceptance by the people of Imo State. You have redefined leadership in the Eastern heartland and brought about unmatched development to the state for the past four years on the saddle.
Senator Nwebonyi applauded the governor for serving as instrument of national unity describing him as a detribalized Nigeria and voice of reason.
“At the national level, you have continued to serve as a symbol of a new Nigeria, a unifying factor, a rallying point, a detribalized Nigerian and a voice of reason. Your contributions to national development is unparalleled.
“As the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, you have used your good offices to reposition our great party and unite all divergent voices.
“To this end, I’m convinced that you will utilize the next four years to post a superlative performance as governor and to attract more development to the south eastern region.
“Once again, kindly accept the assurances of my highest regards and the best wishes of my constituents, Your Excellency”. he said
