6-yrs Of Good Governance: Izzi Media Workers Laud Ebonyi Speaker

Members of Association of Izzi Media Workers, an umbrella body covering media personnel working in print,broadcast and new media who are of izhi origin has commended Speaker,Ebonyi State House of Assembly,Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru,for his ourstanding leadership of six years in the saddle and making state House of Assembly the most peaceful in the country.

This was followed by the release made available by the national president, Comr. Sunday Nwambam(ksj) as jointly signed by the secretary,Mr Boniface Nwankwo,in Abakaliki.

According to the statement, the association applauded the Speaker, Right Honourable Francis Nwifuru on his six years anniversary as the Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

The Association paid the glowing tributes to Right Honourable Nwifuru who is also the National Vice-President, South East Zone of Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly for ensuring that the parliament in Ebonyi State under his watch remains the most peaceful among contemporaries across the Federation.

While acknowledging the robust contributions of the Speaker in galvanizing Izhi unity within the period under review, the Association of Izhi Media Workers praised him for his humanitarian disposition which has ammassed for him glorious goodwill across borders.

“We join the host of fans and admirers world over to congratulate Mr. Speaker, our worthy brother for doing us proud. Six years down the line, he has meticulously carried out his duties as the leader of the second organ of Government in this State with estimable carriage, Mr. Speaker has reinvigorated Izhi Nation and we are now stronger and formidable than ever, he has also contributed a quantum to the prevalence of relative peace in the State through incandescent legislation and for all these, we say bravo to Onwa Oferekpe worldwide”

They,however, congratulate the seasoned Parliamentarian for the milestone achieved, prayed God to strengthen and preserve him to attain all his future aspirations.
