The National Deputy President Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, Comrade Ikechukwu Aleribe says the efficiency of parliamentary workers is the bedrock upon which legislative Excellence is achieved in every Democratic system of government.
Comrade Aleribe made this Known in Ebonyi State House of Assembly Complex, during the election of Executives of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, Ebonyi State Chapter.
He maintained that for a legislature to thrive their must be a deligent parliamentary Staff who spend a considerable portion of time in casework activities.
He commended the PASAN electoral Committee led by, Comrade Uche Edene, for conducting credible and transparent election and described the exercise as exceptional and one of the best in the Country.
Earlier in an address, the immediate past PASAN Caretaker Chairman who doubles as electoral Committee Chairman, Mrs Uche Edene, while thanking workers for their love, and support urged them to vote candidates of their choice as the electoral Committee is determined to conduct free, fair and most peaceful election in the state Assembly.

Mrs Edene appreciated, the Speaker, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his selfless services which has contributed immensely to the growth of the union in the state.
Also, the Secretary, Ebonyi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Chief Louis Uguru commended the National Executives of PASAN and the electoral Committee for a job well done as the election was credible and acceptable and urged the members of PASAN to always see themselves as one family.
Others who spoke include SA to Ebonyi State Governor on Labour and Inter Party matters, Comrade Janifer Adibe Nwafor represented by His Dr Lordship C C Edward, the National Vice Chairman PASAN South East Zone, Comrade Anayo Nwinya, PASAN National Financial Secretary Comrade Promise Onwukwe, and National Ex_ Officio South East Comrade Ikechukwu Ugochukwu Monday, who all commended the out come of the electoral process and encouraged the newly elected PASAN Executives to work with boldness and honesty in reflections of the PASAN law in order to set a standard.
Other newly elected Executives include: Mrs Sandra Okoro Secretary, Mr. Ikechukwu Okonkwo Eric,as Treasurer, Mr Agwu Ibiam, Financial Secretary, Mr Edward Ogwale, Auditor, Mrs Blessing Chukwu, Vice Chairman, Mr Akota Stephen, Assistant Secretary, Mrs Celestina Nweke, as welfare Secretary, Mr Omoha Williams, Social Secretary, Mr Nweze Lazurus, Publicity Secretary, Mr Raphael Agwu Legal Adviser and Mrs Ezeora Gladys Ex-Officio.
After the election. Mrs Regina Odeh move a motion for the dissolution of the past Caretaker Committee and was seconded by Pastor Francis Igwe which was unanimously adopted.
The newly elected PASAN Executives were immediately sworn in by the PASAN National Deputy President Comrade Ikechukwu Alaribe with a charge to always consult Stakeholders of the.Association forward.
In her acceptance Speech, the newly elected PASAN Chairman, Mrs Regina Oshibe thanked the members of the Association for the mandate given to them and promised that they will all work together to take Ebonyi State Chapter of PASAN to enviable height.
