The newly posted Commissioner of Police in Ebonyi State, CP Faleye Sunday Olaleye has vowed to ensure peaceful conduct of this year’s general elections in all the nooks and crannies of the State.
He state this while addressing newsmen after he was handed over by the outgoing CP, Aliyu Garba in the Police Officers Mess in Abakaliki, the State Capital.

According to him: “the police belong to everybody. Is it possible for somebody to dominate the national Police, it’s not possible. The police belong to everybody. Let me assure you that the police are for everybody because we are friends, and we need your assistance and cooperation.”
On whether his office would work with the recently disbanded Ebubeagu Security Operatives by the Federal High Court Abakaliki, the CP said “you just informed me, how am I going to work with things that doesn’t exist, court has disbanded them.
