2023 Presidency: S’East APC drums support for Umahi, calls him voice of equity

Ahead of the 2023 polls, the Southeast Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has converged at Owerri, the Imo State Capital, to rally round for the victory of Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State in the forthcoming presidential primary.

Ebonyi Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Barr Orji Uche Orji in a statement shared on the social media platforms for updates, said that the members of the party in the zone were delighted while rallying around the forerunner David Umahi, who is currently the Chairman of the Southeast Governors’ Forum.

According to Orji, “the PC Stakeholders and delegates in South East are set to rally round their own whom they view as the best material for the number one job as President of Nigeria come 2023, His Excellency Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi.”

He disclosed that “in South East, Ebonyi State is s glad out by analysts as having been made a reference point in innovative leadership and good governance” by his principal, Umahi.

He added: “South East believes that giving Nigeria their best as a Presidential candidate will settle developmental issues that affect the nation.
