From Nwogha Ndubuisi, Abakaliki
The Labour Party Candidate for House of Representatives Abakaliki/Izzi Federal Constituency, Dr Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh ( Immaculate), has applauded Catholic Priests in their efforts on Permanent Voter’s Card registration and collection sensitization.

Ezeh made the remarks during his pre-elections and public engagements with the Association of Nigerian Priests of Abakaliki Diocese (ANPAD) at Nkalagu.
According to statement issued by the Director, Media & Publicity
Immaculate Grassroot Movement (Ifegachi Nigeria), Louis Nwebonyi, Ezeh expressed gratitude to the Priests for their efforts in sensitising the people about the ongoing PVC distribution by the INEC ahead of the 2023 elections.
He encouraged them not to relent in pressing on the masses the dire need for active participation in the 2023 electoral processes, noting that in most cases, especially in the hinterlands, the Priests are the people’s foremost rallying point for social and moral support/education.
He maintained that the Catholic Priests, even in their need to maintain political neutrality, remain veritable stakeholders in the ongoing Movement for a New Nigeria.
In reaction, the state chairman, Rev. Fr. Okoroagha appreciated Immaculate for finding time to be with them and further reassured him of their constant commitment to common good in the Society.
