Action Alliance governorship candidate in Ebonyi state,Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo has promised to make primary and secondary school education free for all girl child in the state if elected in the upcoming general election.

He made the declaration when women professionals paid him solidarity visit in his Abakaliki residence.

The frontline governorship candidate who lamented over decline in girl child education in the state, noted that he would declare state of emergency in the sector targeting majorly the girl child.

The former Commissioner for Works and Transport stated that his administration would give utmost priority to education, health and agricultural sectors.

He explained that giving adequate and qualitative education to girl child would go in long way to expose them on available career opportunities.

He added that poor girl child education has placed Ebonyi girl in disadvantage position nationwide and assured that the era would soon be a thing of the past.

The Action Alliance governorship candidate while appreciating the women group for believing in equity and his competence to delivering on his manifesto assured them of issue based campaign.

He further hinted that his joining the race is on mission to serve the people and not to enrich himself and assured the supporters that he would focus on policies and Programme that would improve on the economy of the state.
