As Local Football League, Izzi Football Association (IFA) kicked off 2022 season, Ebonyi Development Center will be playing with Ebyia DC on 2nd October,2022.
This was made known by the Local Organizing Committee, George Iboko while addressing newsmen after the distribution of kits to DC Coordinators in Abakaliki.
The match which will serve as opening of 2022 season according to him will be kicked off by the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate and sponsor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru at Izzi Nnodo Cultural Center’s Field.
He explained that the season would witnessed advance strategy in handling activities of the association and assured players of necessary support.
He acknowledged the wonderful support from officials and tasked players to be on their best as the season would witness tremendous amount of sports and talent hunters who would expose them beyond local levels.
According to him, the season would run from first week of October until December 26th when the last best two teams would play final which will bring the end of this year’s season.
