The Ebonyi State base Activist and Legal Practitioner, who is the Principal, Big Bird Chambers, Advocate for Equity and Good Leadership, Barr. Sunday Ununu has received an outstanding award of excellence from the civil society organization (CSO) called Africare Economic Development Initiative Trust Organization, Abuja, following his contribution to humanity and in a legal profession in the State.

The award was to complement his recent birthday celebration with the less privileged ones and disabled in the society.

Speaking after receiving the honorary award in Abakaliki, the legal luminary Barr. Ununu,
commended the people for the honor bestowed on him. Ununu who expressed gratitude to God Almighty for making the people to honor him in that capacity, assured to continue to render help to the less privileged persons in the society and also never relent in the dispensation of justice in the State.

He used the opportunity and called on youths in the Country to desist totally from the consumption of illicit drugs included Mkpuru-mmiri, India hemp among others.

While speaking on the aspect of insecurity in the Country, Ununu called on both Federal and State Government to beef security in all the nooks and crannies of the Country to guarantee lives and property of the citizenry.

He appreciated the giant efforts of the security agencies especially Nigeria Police Force in the Country in combating crimes and criminalities and enjoined them to redouble their efforts by checkmating road users properly and punish the offenders to reduce the high rate of hard drugs in the Country.

He further enjoined youths in the Country to rise to their responsibilities and support a better candidate come 2023 presidential election to change the narratives of the Country.

Contributing, a member of Big Bird Chambers Barr. Steve Opoke explained that Barr. Ununu had received many outstanding awards of excellence this year describing him as an exceptional leader who has contributed meaningfully in the law profession and prayed God to continue to lift him higher in life endeavors.

Earlier in his remarks, the South East Zonal Coordinator of Africare Economic Development Initiative, Trust Organization, Abuja, Ambassador Jude Okafor noted they decided to honor Barr. Ununu for his immense contributions to humanity and his overall achievements in the legal profession as well as his recent birthday celebration with the less privileged and disabled persons in Ebonyi State.

He noted the award would spur him to continue his good works and encouraged him to never relent in his good deeds to gain more blessings and grace of God in his life endeavors while calling on political office holders and business moguls to emulate the philanthropic dispositions of the counsel.
