In the Spirit of Christmas Celebration, the Executive Chairman of Ebonyi local Government Council, today, hosted the widows and aged of the area in a mega party celebration.
The widows carefully selected from all the 13 political wards of Ebonyi local Government council rejoiced as they were hosted and celebrated by the Executive Chairman.
Speaking, Hon (Chief) Mrs Chinyere Nwogbaga JP, IION who maintained that the Joy of the widows and indeed, the happiness of all the people of the council remain her priority.
The Executive Chairman ably represented by the Vice Chairman-Hon. Mrs Cynthia Emeka Mbam, while distributing the Christmas largesse to about 200 widows of the council, assured them of the council’s readiness to always put the interest of the widows and the less privileged at best consideration at all times.
The widows party attracted the dignitaries and prominent men and women of the council including the frontiers support groups-Adaejiejemba support group,divine call women amongst others.
The largesse distributed to the Women included; cash envelopes, Rice, tomatoes, wrappers and other commodities.
In appreciation,the women rejoiced,danced and prayed for a higher opportunity for the Chairman who is committed in putting smiles on the faces of the down trodden.
