— Inaugurates state caretaker committe

The national vice Chairman South East, Africa Democratic Congress(ADC), Hon.(Barr) Nlemi Ignatius has on Friday vowed that his party would take over power in the entire South East and Ebonyi State precisely come 2023.

He made the statement during an event of inauguration of the state executive caretaker committee of the party led by Comrade Morgan Nwogba Nnaemeka in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital.

Barr Nlemi pointed out that the time was riped for the political terrain to be changed for more oriented Nigerians who are capable to deliver the country from leadership quagmire it has faced since the inception of democracy.

According to him:”We are here to officially inaugurate the caretaker Committe of our great party,ADC, by national working Committe led by Chief Raph Okey Nwosu, and the Chairman of the caretaker Committe is Comrade Nwogba Morgan Nnaemeka.

“Having set up this caretaker committe and notifying INEC and inaugurated them today which are based on our blueprint. We are expecting the leadership to take another step to ensure that our party structure trickled down to the grassroots of the thirteen Local Government Areas of the state because election is now just a year and few months now.

“It’s known that Ebonyi State has been flexing muscle between PDP and APC but we know that there’s a political tsunami and summersault nationally that’s going to take place before the middle of 2022 and Ebonyi State is one of the states our party has prepared to capture as ADC state.

“Our party is doing marvelous in Imo, and in Anambra; we are prepared to take over from HE Willie Obiano. ADC is the number three party today in Nigeria after PDP and APC but all I’m assuring our people is that we are out to take over the failed two Political parties.

“We currently have 21 national Assembly Members, but the political explosion which will scatter other purported Political parties will make ADC more stronger soon.

“Our blueprint spell what ADC represents with the presence of all the South East leaders presence in the state for the inauguration. All we are doing is to ensure that youths of this great nation come back to take over this country again because our present leaders have failed us.

He maintained that his defection from United Patriotic Party to Africa Democratic Congress has nothing to do with the said Party deregisteration as the case was still in court but as permitted by the law of freedom of association which allows every Party person to cross carpet.

He pledged to ensure ADC took over as the ruling party in the state and admonished members to placed their hands on the deck to make sure the party took over the state comes 2023.

Comrade Nwogba who lamented that the past leaders in the country have failed the people, charged youth to join the crusade to rewrite the wrongs and assured them that ADC has come to salvage the dying nation.

On her part,Chief (Hon) Mrs Juliet Nwinya, Ebonyi State Chairman, People’s Progressive Party, lauded the party chairman for his new party and charged him to live up to the responsibility.

Chief Nwinya who said she was present at the inauguration as a member Inter Party Advisory Council assured Comrade Nwogba of utmost support to move the organization forward.

Meanwhile,Mrs Oreke Modester commended the national executive body for entrusting them with the responsibility of bringing the state to the party and charged members to give utmost support for the success of the party.

Recall that the national Vice president and entourage had earlier paid offical visit to INEC Office before the commencement of the inauguration.
