Ebonyi indigenes in diaspora under the auspcies of Izhi Nnodo Association of Nigeria have said that the efficient way to sustain and consolidate on the developmental projects of Umahi led government would be to maintain the law of even distribution of power across the three zones in the state.

The group made the assertion at Izzi Ancestral Home,Amegu on Sunday 10th January,2021 during the presentation of newly coronated traditional rulers in Lagos with traditional rulers council of the clan.
According to the national president,Chief Ebili Edwin hinted that Ebonyi state is built on the foundation of three principles of equity, justice and fair distribution of power which made the area peculiar.
He added that the meeting among other things was organized to reunite Izzi People irrespective of Social economic background and officially inform the traditional rulers of their existence in Lagos State.
The national president, however, implored stakeholders among the traditional rulers to continue being advocators of truth.
He called for stronger synergy among all the stakeholders, traditional rulers and youth in Izzi clan to ensure unity and progress in the clan.
He said:”We are here today because of the sacredness of our ancestral home to present to you the illustrious sons of Izzi nation who were honoured with traditional ruler and ozo titles respectively by Ohaneze Ndigbo in Lagos.
“This becomes imperative because we know the value of our traditional leaders who are saddle to be the custodian of authority and to stand for what is right in promoting unity for the progress of our land.
“We commend our state governor for the developmental projects in our state courtesy of the visionary leader,Engr. David Umahi who’s making us proud away from home and we are imploring him to maintain the equitable distribution of power on completion of his tenure for the sustenance of the good work.
Speaking one of the newly coronated traditional rulers, Eze Cyprain Nweke (a.k.a Eze-Izhi Gbirim 1) expressed their readiness to bring the people to the fore and tasked the traditional rulers to join them in the crusade.

“We are your children and are happy to identify with you,our traditional rulers and we promise to always support every programme to uplift the unity of Izzi people because a popular adage has it that,unity is strength.
On their separate contributions,Chief Clement Nwego, Chief John Ogujima,Elder Dominic Nwibo and Barrister Simeon Nwuguru appreciated the traditional rulers for honouring their invitation and enjoined them and other stakeholders in Izzi clan to deeply involve those in Lagos in their programmes to enable them contribute their quota towards development of the area.
They cautioned stakeholders against kindred dichotomy and charged them to continue working seriously for the unity of the people.
In their remarks, the chairman Izzi Traditional Rulers Council and traditional ruler of Amegu autonomous community,His Royal Highness,Eze Fidelis Nwonumaru, traditional ruler Igbeagu autonomous community,HRH Eze Michael Ogbonnaya Ukwa among others appreciated the association for their decision to work for the interest of Izzi nation and promised not to disappoint them.
Other activity of the day was the official presentation of the Ohaneze Ndigbo honoured traditional rulers among Eze Osondu Nwego from Ebonyi LGA,Eze Cyprian Nwekee(Eze-Izhi Gbirim 1) from Izzi council Area,andEze Simeon Ezewa from Abakaliki Local Government Area.
Also recognized were elders among Elder Dominic Nwibo, Chief Lazarus Ogodo and Chief Okente Nwalo.
