A trader who was identified as Mr. Sunday Nwambam popularly known as Ishieke has been reportedly shot dead by unknown hoodlums.

It was learnt that late Sunday Nwambam was shot dead while inside his shop, opposite his father’s compound by Nwambara junction along Mile 4-Ishieke road, old Abakaliki-Enugu express way in Ebonyi state.

Narrating the incident,the decease relative,Mr. Sundays Iteshi said, the decease Sunday Nwambam is the son of Chief Nwambam Nwuga of Enyadilogu village in Agalegu Ishieke community, Ebonyi Local Government Area of the State.

The source also confirmed that the trader was shot dead in his shop on Wednesday 16 December, 2020, and his corpse has been deposited in the mortuary.

Speaking with the deceased’s younger brother, mr.Kenneth Nwambam who also confirmed the incident lamented that the family has recently lost many souls before the unfortunate death of his elder brother and appealed to the relevant agencies to fish out the killer of his brother.

He expressed surprise at how his elder brother, Sunday was shot dead, noting that the brother was a peace Advocator who would never involved in violence activity when he was alive and wonder why such would befell on him.

According to him:”Tragedy has befallen me again for the third time this year. My brother Ishieke is dead by gun shot. I buried my father recently. I buried my immediate younger brother too, and now my immediate elder brother (Ishieke) is lying dead.”he lamented
