The former Universal Basic Education Board Director in Ebonyi State and current director governing board,Edo Ekiti polytechnic,Chief Austin Edeze, Tuesday 15th December,2020 advised bursary beneficiaries undergraduates to at least learn a skill while their certificate serve as second opportunity after graduation.

He gave the advise at Abarigwe-Ishieke, country home of Justice Laz Nwuzor in Ebonyi council area during an event to mark 11th anniversary thanksgiving of Indigent Care Foundation, noting that the increase on job scourge demands that a graduate should entrepreneurially oriented so as to be job creator.

Edeze, who was Chairman of the occasion admonished the bursary beneficiary students to be committed with their studies and thanked Prof.Nwuzor for sustaining the legacies of the husband who has gone to be with the Lord.
He stressed that time has gone when graduates wait for job before venturing in legitimate skill, noting that Buhari led administration has continued to empower entrepreneurs to be employers of labour.

Speaking the state Governor,Engr.David Umahi commended the immediate past Senior Special Assistant to the executive governor on Higher Education for her sincere gesture.

The governor who was represented by Permanent Secretary Ministry of Environment,Mr.Fidelis Alo Nwele, challenged other stakeholders to emulate Prof.Nwuzor who has toed the path of the state governor with his annual celebration of the vulnerables.

He, further tasked the beneficiary students and others to plant same seed in every little way they could while they shun cultism for productive future.

On his part, Christian Association of Nigeria,CAN Chairman, Ebonyi State Chapter described giving as the easiest way to attract blessings and pray God to continue enriching the donor.

Also,Hon.Fidelis Nwankwo, former federal state minister for Health and Mr.Simon Nwankwo, Senior Lecturer, Ebonyi State University in department of mass communication expressed grateful to the donor for remembering the indigent ones.

Earlier, the host, Prof.Adaeze Nwuzor, former Senior Special Assistant to the executive governor on Higher Education said it was part of the promise made to God to annually be source of happiness to the helpless in the society and urged beneficiaries to adequately use whatever they had received.

Consequently, beneficiary students among Mr.Obinna Ishiali and Mr.Nwizi Mathew promised to judiciously use the bursary and promised to reciprocate same after graduation.
